Update and Happy holidays!

This is going to be a long post so prepare yourself! First I'll start off with the last painting I made for my mom's colleague. It is a snowman and personally one of my favorite pieces. I made her a total of 4 small pieces which she paid an overall $65 for! That's $45 more than I would have charged her. Thanks to her and another lovely person who donated $15 for one of my stars pieces my total is over $200! I have officially raised $220 for the Ronan Thompson foundation!!!!! It is truly insane and I really did not think I would have raised this much. It is truly because of all of the wonderful people who gave MORE than I asked of them and of course every little donation in between. I am so thankful for all the beautiful people who are helping me make a difference I truly love you all. Here is a picture of the snowman:

 

 

 

My most recent piece was a white horse (*cries*, if you're not a swiftie you might not understand) on a green background. I made it as a gift for an adorable baby. I am giving it to his parents in a few hours so fingers crossed they like it. I really like this piece because it actually looks like a horse and since I'm such a failure I am happy when things go my way. (YAY for the little victories in life) Here is a picture:

 

 

The last piece of information might be the most important. Starting tomorrow (Christmas Day) I will have my pieces on a small discount. This offer will end January 3rd because 3 is my lucky number. Stick to priest!

My brother's school recently put on a school version of the musical Sweeney Todd. After watching it(twice) I am OBSSESSED! Everyone in the production was beyond talented and I would go see it a million times if I could. It's not a typical musical. If you like pie and murder its the musical for you :)

I just had to make a painting about it. I decided to make a painting with a pie and a line from one of the catchiest and funniest songs from the musical. Here it is!

A Phoenix and an Elephant

My father recently asked me to make him another piece. It has a gold phoenix and a pink elephant. They are facing each other as if they are having a conversation. I am happy that it turned out nice as I have never painted an elephant. This is the first horizontal piece I have made.  I am unsure how much money he is going to pay for it. Every cent he pays will go to Run like a ROckstar :)

News!!!!

There are three of my paintings that are no longer available. They were not purchased. I am very excited to announce that they will be raffle prizes at a fundraiser! The fundraiser is not until early next year so I will give more information on it later. Here are pictures of the paintings that are no longer available. 

 

 

I have improved greatly since making those painting  and so I decided to make another one. It is a purple phoenix with gold eyes. It has a red background covered in hearts.

Painting #2

This is the second painting for my mom's colleague. It has a glittery gold background with a simple giraffe. I'm proud of this piece because it shows how I am starting to step out of my comfort zone and trying new things. Though it is simple I'm proud of it because I'm not used to painting animals. I hope she likes it :)

Colorful trees and news

A while ago my mom bought one of my paintings. She brought it to work and one of her colleagues said it was beautiful. My mom told her I made it. My mom's colleague she said she wanted one herself and even said they'd make great Christmas presents. Flash-forward to last week. I found myself with some free time and extra materials so I started it. I made it a simple piece with just a colorful tree. I think it is perfect for this time of year because everywhere I look there are beautifully colorful trees. Flash-forward to yesterday when my mom gave her the painting. I wrote her a note explaining why I paint and how terrible things are in the world of childhood cancer. She LOVED it! She gave me $25 for it! As she gave it to me in cash I am yet to donate it to the foundation but as soon as I do it will bring my total to $135!!!! That is MORE than my original goal! The best part is she wants THREE MORE! I've got a lot of brainstorming to do. I want them to be PERFECT! Here is a picture of my colorful tree piece:

There have been many people asking me for custom paintings. Though I truly love making people their own custom, personal paintings I have many pieces I need to sell. These pictures aren't the best quality so please don't just judge my pieces based on these. If any of these interest you even slightly please email me at artforro3@gmail.com and I'll send you more/ better quality pictures. I will also work out a good price with you. As these were my first pieces I understand they aren't my best work and so I'm willing to lower the prices just because I want to sell them so badly. Here are the pictures........

A phoenix in the night sky

This painting combines two of my favorite things. A beautifully gold phoenix and stars. The person this piece is for is truly beautiful :) I hope they like it.......

News

So..... right now I swear I couldn't be happier. Not because my life has changed in any way but because I am starting to make a difference. I get closer and closer to my goal everyday. I was asked to make a bunch of pieces at once. A beautiful person asked me to make them a painting. This lovely person (who refers to herself as Ronan's L.A. Lovie) donated $20 instead of $15! This wonderfully sweet surprise brought my total to $100!! Pictures of the piece are below:

 

While all of this Romagic was going on I was working on another piece for another wonderfully beautiful person. They asked me to make a blue stars piece. Since I had already made a light blue one I decided to make it dark blue. This one brought my total up to $110 (as they paid $10 for it) Pictures below:

 

$110 is honestly a total I never thought I would reach. It feels amazing whenever someone likes my art but the most amazing feeling is knowing I am helping these kids, even if it is just a little at a time :)
