Petite stars piece

I was recently asked to customize another piece. This is my very first petite custom piece. It is a smaller version of my stars piece. This is my third stars piece.

The piece was priced at $5. The lovely person who wanted this piece kindly said they were willing to pay more so I decided to throw in my very first non-canvas piece. The total came to $10 ($5 for each piece).

This means I have officially raised $80 for the foundation. I am expecting some more purchases soon. I am hoping to reach my goal of $130 by the end of the year.
Please spread the word about my blog and Ronan's story.
Thank you!

When life gives you a clock: paint it

I recently found myself in a situation where I had no canvases but desperately wanted to paint. Painting is something I crave. I just love putting something out into the world in hopes that someone will love it. I adore every single person who says something nice to me about my art. People like that truly make me feel special. Sorry for rambling... I tend to do that a lot. Anyways... Here is my first ever Ro-clock! It is my first non-canvas piece and I like how it turned out. As I said earlier I was out of canvases but wanted to paint so badly. I found this clock and this kind of just happened :) It is dark purple with a gold border. It says "Rolove" at the top :) It has gold stars because Ronan was a rockstar <3 This piece is very affordable as it is only $3. If you are interested please contact me at artforro3@gmail.com :) Thank you!!!

Update

I have officially sold 4 of my paintings. I already sent one out in the mail. I'm going to send the second one out early next week. The other two were sold to my parents so I obviously did not send them out in the mail. I have officially raised $70 for the foundation. I am honestly over the moon happy. The paintings that are currently available on my blog all cost $15. Here are some pictures:

If you are interested please contact me at artforro3@gmail.com. I also take requests for custom paintings. I can make you a smaller painting if you cannot afford one for $15.

Beautiful people don't just happen

This quote couldn't be more true. Beautiful people truly are a rare thing in today's society. This is a simple orange piece with a gold tree. Gold is a color I use quite often because it is the awareness color for childhood cancer. It has gold and dark purple dots and says "Beautiful people don't just happen" next to the tree. This one is $15. It is my biggest piece so far. If you are interested please contact me at artforro3@gmail.com. I also take requests for custom paintings :)

Petite Flower Painting

This is my second "petite painting". This one is not on sale. I made this for my English teacher who recently lost her father. It was easy to tell how much she cared about him . I made this as a way of telling her how sorry I am for her loss.

Petite Phoenix Painting

This is my very first "petite painting". It is dark green and has a gold phoenix. It is much smaller than my other paintings (hence the name "petite painting"). I was originally going to put this one on here for $5 but my mom saw it an absolutely fell in LOVE with it. Instead of putting it on here and waiting until someone buys it (which would probably be WEEKS from now). I've decided to take my mom's offer and sell it to her for $20. In the end the reason I'm doing this is for the kids. These kids truly deserve better. My goal is to raise the most money I possibly can. Even though I REALLY want to sell as many paintings to people who aren't in my family as I can my goal is to raise money for these kids. As long as I'm doing that I'm happy :)

September 2013

This September felt like a lifetime. So much happened and it's crazy how different things can be after only a month. This September was a great month for me. Even though it was extremely frustrating at times I raised a total of $35 which is AMAZING. It's not much but it's more than I thought I would raise by the end of the month.  Even though September is over we can never back down in this fight. While we watch everything turn pink this October we need to continue to fight the good fight for these kids. These kids cannot be forgotten. We NEED to continue to spread the word even after September ends. I ask my few readers to never forget Ronan and all the other kids who truly deserve better. This October I ask you to please tell anyone you can about my blog as well as Ronan's story. Even though October is breast cancer awareness month (and we should continue to support it) Pediatric cancer is NEVER irrelevant.  Kids dying left and right is NEVER irrelevant.
